Dr. Oliveira-Haas is an accomplished professional with extensive expertise in restorative dentistry, evidence-based dentistry, and research. With over 25 years of clinical experience, she is passionate about teaching and has conducted numerous lectures and hands-on workshops on restorative dentistry. She has also presented lectures and hands-on workshops at national dental meetings and published several articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Oliveira-Haas earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Federal University of Uberlândia, Brazil, in 1995. She furthered her education with an Advanced Studies in Esthetic Dentistry certificate at São Paulo State University and completed a Specialty Program in Operative Dentistry at the Federal University of Uberlândia, both in Brazil.

Continuing her academic journey, Dr. Oliveira-Haas pursued a master's and PhD in Operative Dentistry at São Paulo State University in 2004. Later, she moved to the United States and served as a faculty member at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for 12 years while providing patient care at the Faculty Practice Clinic. She also held the Post Graduate Operative Dentistry Program Director position during this time. In 2018, she joined the Adult Restorative Dentistry Department at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), College of Dentistry in Lincoln, Nebraska. After completing a two-year (2021-2023) Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at the University of Florida, Dr Oliveira-Haas proudly obtained her certificate as a US-trained and licensed dentist.

Currently, Dr. Oliveira-Haas holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor and AEGD Residency Program Director at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), Kansas City, Missouri, while maintaining her practice in the UMKC Faculty Practice clinic.

Dr. Oliveira-Haas is an active member of the American Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Operative Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.

Life & Hobbies

As a mother of two and a dedicated wife, Dr. Oliveira-Haas cherishes time spent with her family, whether supporting her children’s endeavors or enjoying quality moments with her husband. Outside of work, she finds joy in hobbies such as traveling, gardening, and staying active, which help her unwind and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Life & Hobbies

Having lived in Orlando before college, Dr. Negrin is thrilled to return after spending seven years in Gainesville. In her free time, she cherishes spending quality time with her family. Being a lifelong Orlando resident, Disney has always been a big part of her life. Dr. Negrin loves spending time at the parks and exploring the various resorts. In her spare time, she also loves managing her nail polish design account, which allows her to perfect her manual dexterity skills and expand her creativity alongside dentistry.
